Batman

Ask me to choose between Batman and Superman and it's Supes for me every time.

Yesterday, though, I was suprised to find that as of yet no portrayal of Bruce and Batman in the media has done the role justice. Christian Bale is by far the best of the bunch so far but still there's just something not quite right about him. I can't put my finger on what it is though

When I was capping Batman Returns at the weekend I realised that while the Burton Batman movies are my favourites I'm not so happy with Keaton. His Batman is pretty good but his Bruce is less so.

The less said about Val Kilmer the better and let us never speak of George Clooney again. LOL.

What do you think? I'm especially interested in what the fans of the comics think. Has anyone portrayed Bruce and Batman they way he should be on screen?

I feel sick

I have contacted the author who's idea I have apparently stolen. It wasn't her who said something to me about it, but I found a post in her journal which didn't name me but was clearly aimed at me

The idea that anyone would connect me in any way to some form of plagiarism makes me feel physically sick so I am making I Believe a private entry to avoid upsetting anyone (apart from myself)

I think I need to go and have a small cry now.

Moving on

Had a good ten minute cry and got it all out of my system. Made the extremely bad mistake of reading all the comments to the author's post. Of course her friends are going to support her, but reading that I 'display no originality whatsoever' is possible the most hurtful thing I have ever heard

Hopefully this will be the end of it now but it's making me scared to write anything new. Good thing it's the holidays.

Not going to post any more about it now but thanks for all the supportive comments.

Yeah, I lied

I've put my fic back up. I'm angry now. She's gone from saying I stole the idea to pretty much saying they are the same fic.

If I leave it up people can see for themselves. Yes, there are similar elements but I did not copy her story. My beta read both of them and didn't see a problem.

Shock has worn off. Rage has taken over.

One more thing

Please don't go over and start commenting in her journal. It's really sweet that you want to stick up for me but I don't want things to escalate any further
