My life on TV

Apparnetly Channel 4 likes to make TV shows based on my life. Or maybe my life is imitating Channel 4 shows. Who knows.

When I left uni, had aspirations of being a professional writer and shared a house with a geeky guy called Tom there was Spaced

A few years down the line when I have abandoned professional writing in favour of fanfic and have settled into a job I enjoy along comes The IT Crowd

Mum-Ra bought me series 1 and 2 for my birthday because even she thinks it's my life on screen. LOL

I've written my snippet for Fierce and danceswithgary has kindly done a beta on it for me. It's not really what I planned when I started and I can't decide whether I like it or not but it's there and finished so I shall post it when I get home.

I really need to do some more work on my Halloween fic tonight and I'm hoping I won't be too sore when I get back from aerobics. Working out whilst you're cramping is not fun!

I should get a fair amount done next week at least. I'm off work on Monday and Friday and will be getting the train in the rest of the week from my parents so I can write while I'm travelling. I remember when I used to do that before I moved out of home. Loads of my Buffy fics got written on the train.

Usual aerobics instructor was back this week and she worked us hard and fast. I couldn't keep up with some of it and it made me feel old. I used to be really good at aerobics/dance when I was at school. Where has my coordination gone?

Anyway, the older lady that took us last time that we liked does a step aerobics class an hour before the regulae aerobics class so we're going to try that next time instead. It means I'll have to catch the bus straight from work but that's better in a way. It'll be so much easier than coming home for an hour which is what I do at the moment.

In other news several people have already requested a sequel to Home Truths so they can read the conversation between Clark and Lex. I would write it but I'm not sure how the conversation would go. LOL. If I get inspired I might write it tomorrow.

I am annoyed

I'm annoyed and I can't decide if I'm being irrational and/or hypocritical

And my Halloween fic is now at 4000 words and is about half done. I think. I keep adding stuff. LOL.
