On icons

I was thinking about this after herohunter posted a poll about icons a few days ago.

I have a lot of icons uploaded on LJ. 119 to be precise. Thing is I don't really use them.

I reply to the majority of my LJ comments through my e-mail so that just uses my default icon. When I'm at work or replying to posts through LJ I generally just use my default icon unless the entry I'm replying to is on a specific subject which I feel I have an icon that matches. Even then I generally reply to any subsequent comments with my default icon.

So why do I have all these icons?

Answer: I don't know.

Anyway, I just got an e mail from LJ saying my extra icons are going to expire in 12 days. The rational part of my brain tells me not to bother renewing but the fannish side of me wants to keep the pretties.

Thoughts?

I was hoping for a quiet day at work today so I could finish off my CLFF fic. No such luck though. We've been insanely busy and I've only just finished now

Well, looks like I will be shut away in my room for most of tonight then :(
