I should have been paid today but it's my first month working for a new company and I worry something has gone wrong. Will check on the way to work I think

If I've been paid then it's time to go shopping. WHEE!

Alas, not stuff for me. There seems to be LOADS of birthdays coming up in the next couple of weeks including one 30th so I need to buy presents for everyone. And maybe one or two things for me too ;)

Urge to kill rising

I am SO close to buying a secondhand laptop with XP installed on it. I can get one for £100 on ebay

Seriously, this thing is making me want to cry. It's so random and NOWHERE has any idea how to fix it

Narrowing it down

Ok, so Event Viewer says I have a bad block on my hard disk. So it's not a fault with Vista.

Am attempting to fix it using a repair programme. If that doesn't work then I'll be forced to wipe it and start from scratch and if THAT doesn't work it's a hardware fault and I'll have to take it back to the shop

*sigh*

My Bad Sector fix programme seems to be stuck at 29%. I'm going to leave it on overnight but if there's no change in the morning then I'll have to give up

Somone has suggested the problem might be being caused by spyware or adware so I'll test for that but if that doesn't work then it's time for The Big Wipe

I feel miserable.

If I lose my Sims saves I'm not going to start again. Starting from scratch is just too depressing.

Sometimes I hate technology :(

At least I still have my desktop PC
