Narrowing it down

hilsOk, so Event Viewer says I have a bad block on my hard disk. So it's not a fault with Vista.
Am attempting to fix it using a repair programme. If that doesn't work then I'll be forced to wipe it and start from scratch and if THAT doesn't work it's a hardware fault and I'll have to take it back to the shop
