Meh!

Today I have achieved naff all save fiddling endlessly with my laptop. I have now wiped my portable hard drive after putting all my fic, icons and screencaps onto DVD. It seems to be working but I'll need to start saving stuff to it to test it properly.

I had intended to get my CLFF Wave 22 fic off to beta this weekend but because my fic folder was on my portable hard drive I didn't want to risk losing it. Yes, I could have just saved the fic elsewhere but I'm anal and like to have everything in one place :-S

Favourite SV ep

I was going to do a post asking people to help me pick my favourite Smallville episode. However, making icons of Red has reminded me how much I heart this episode so I think we have a winner. LOL

Can someone please explain why I am having lusty thoughts about Bo Kent in Red. Dude, my hormones must be messed up or something

Getting old

I'm so tired I haven't even got halfway through making my Red icons. Clark has just turned up at the mansion and I want to be properly awake for all the eyefucking and flirting *g*

In other news my portable hard drive seems to be working fine so I can only assume something on the disc was corrupt. Project Doomsday was obviously a success.

Books vs films

I've kind of got it into my head that I need to re-read Stardust and Northern Lights (The Golden Compass for you US types) before the films come out. Then I started thinking about it. If I read the books again then I'll only wind up making comparissons when really the films should be able to stand up on their own merit.

What do you guys think? Do you prefer to have the books fresh in your mind before you go and see the film adaptations? I certainly didn't do it with any of the Harry Potter books when the films came out but I read The Da Vici Code before the film came out.

Buffy icons

I have a random urge to make some Buffy icons. An episode set like I do with my Smallville icons, only focussing on all the characters
