I seem to be having a lot of vivid dreams at the moment. Not really sure why

Anyway, this time it was a fandom dream.

Pondering

I'm considering whether to take my laptop to Canada with me. I probably won't need it while I'm actually there as I will have access to richess's computer if I need it.

On the otherhand it will be nice to have fic to read on the train & plane and the option to watch DVDs if I want rather than the crappy in-flight movie.

Obviously I'll need to buy an adaptor for while I'm in Canada but what about on the plane? Will I even have access to a socket or does that only come if you fly business class? Been so long since I've done a long haul flight that I don't actually know. LOL.

Well, it's something to think about

I clearly make too many icons

A couple of times now I've seen SV icons being used by people on my flist and thought 'ooh, that's pretty' only to realise it's one I made. LOL.

This isn't a bragging post about how great my icons are, more that I clearly make so many I forget what most of them look like a few weeks after posting.

I've done 18 episode-based icon posts so far and each post has around 30 icons in it. So that's somewhere around 540 icons I've made in six months. Not including the Rosenbaum and Buffy icons I've made too.

More ponderings

I want to watch something from Season 5 of Smallville and I don't know why as I hated most of it. Either Lockdown or Fade which is doubly weird as they are both Lexana episodes. Brain, what are you doing?

I've just realised that when I first started watching Smallville I was on the cusp of getting involved in the SPN fandom. I even had the start of a J2 fic in my head which I was going to write. Then I discovered Clex and it all went out the window ;)

I'd probably in a very different place, fandom wise, if I hadn't discovered Smallville when I did

lexalicious70 and I are undertaking some sort of cultural exchange programme. She's getting me to watch and listen to as much Rosenbaum as possible and I have introduced her to the world of Smallville RPS. Why isn't there more of this stuff? If I didn't have like a zillion Clex bunnies to work on I would have a go at this.
