Sickness and other stuff

I'm still not feeling great so I'm not going to work today. Lots of sleep is on the menu and possibly the Lost finale

Was going to go and see PotC 3 tonight but it'll have to be next week now

First I need to post a fic I wrote yesterday. There won't be anyone at work until 8:30 so I need to stay up until then

Had to open the window and balcony door because I was on the verge of melting. The only problem with living in the city centre is that it's so damn noisy

I created an account ages, I think because LJ kept breaking and I wanted a backup. I have never posted in it and I even forgot I had an account until today when I wandered over to look at some Tom picspam that amandajane5 had posted since LJ is being all screwy.

Not only is it virtually a clone of LJ but you get 2000 user pics!

I'd never use them all but that's not the point

Feelings of contentment

I have to say that when I first joined the SV fandom I didn't really feel like I belonged. When I started writing Clex my fics didn't get much feedback (most likely because they were quite bad. LOL), and I felt quite down about the whole thing.

I guess I'd kind of got settled in the Buffy community where everyone knew me so jumping cold into something new was a bit weird.

Happily that is no longer the case. I love my show and I love all of you.

danceswithgary is pushing me (in a good way) to be a better writer.

I've made a new IM buddy (it's the weekend selinamoonfire so we can hopefully chat tonight)

sparkins_mob and I apparently share the same brain (not only did we jointly reach the decision that Lana is either svmaria or that svmaria works as a Smallville writer but we also both wrote towel-cape fics today)

I'm just feeling the love today *glomps you all*

That's not to say I don't love all my friends from other fandoms who are still with me despite the fact that my journal is 90% SV these days. I love you all too. Lots. *glomps everyone*
