When I was doing my budgeting for this month I totally forgot I have to pay for my autographs at Collectormania *facepalms*. That, coupled with the fact that it looks like I'm going to have to pay for some autographs at Asylum now too, means that new clothes are off the menu this month

:(

You know, I really wish it wasn't too late for me to get a refund on my Asylum ticket. With all these strict autograph rules and the fact that half the guests are signing at another event I just really can't be bothered any more. I'm not looking forward to it and it would save me a load of money which I could put towards going to Canada instead.

I randomly realised today that if I had a Smallville het OTP it would be Clark/Chloe. As it is Clark and Lex are the only characters I actually care about but, you know, things could have been different.

I'm about halfway through my CLFF fic now and I'm determined to get it finished by the end of the weekend. I took tomorrow off to go clothes shopping but since that's off the cards now I shall use it to write instead. Ideally I want the handwritten draft done by Sunday so I can type it up on Monday

I have no idea what to ask James to sign at Collectormania. All the other times I've met him (apart from the first) I've had photos of us together for him to sign.

I'm going to get Tony to sign the photo of us together at Toronto Trek and Brandon I'll be happy with just a generic Superman pic. James is the only one proving to be tricky

At the moment I'm thinking either Pretty Maids All In A Row or issue #1 of the Buffy comic. Unless James's table has some Smallville promo pics. Yes, I am sad.

I've had to cave and buy a copy of PowerDVD 7. A cheap copy thankfully.

I'm still narked that the copy I got with my DVD writer isn't compatible with Vista.

I want to make icons and I can't! *cries*

Well, I suppose I could use Old Faithful...

We are silly!

In happier news I totally forgot I have tomorrow off. I was all set to go to bed early. WHEE!

Jensen will only be bringing one photo to the show for signing. He will not sign any other photos. This is not open to debate. Do not bring them you will not get them signed. You will be refused.

He WILL sign any official merchandise from his other work with the exception of Days of Our Lives and Devour. No reason has been given for this decision.

There will not be any free phortographs given away. All photographs are being supplied by Jensen's management and will only be available with an autograph pass. The image they are supplying is not available for purchase in any circumstances.

ALL SIGNATURES WILL BE IN BLACK INK ONLY NO EXCEPTIONS. DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN PENS YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO USE THEM.

So, essentially for my £75 I get a choice of 1 photo of Jensen (which I have to pay an extra £10 for) or I can get him to sign 'official merchandise' none of which I have.

The black ink thing is insane as almost ALL the Supernatural stuff is dark where black ink won't show up.

And I still can't believe that all the other guests are attending another convention and we're just expected to go along and queue up with everyone else

This is going to be a collosal waste of money. I'd much rather be at [livejournal.com profile] padfoot_uk's Eurovision party.

I am seriously thinking of not going. I should be able to get a refund on my hotel room, even if I can't get my £75 back

*sighs*

Blimey! I had been warned by Greg that this Fantistic Four book was dark and he wasn't kidding! I did enjoy it more than the first one but Jesus...

Next on the list is Ultimate Spider-Man vol 2 by Brian Michael Bendis. Looking forward to this one as apparently we more into original territory here.

And to add to my huge pile of comics, Dave has now given me the first two Joss Whedon X-Men books. I'm going to forget what a proper novel looks like at this rate!
