Considered taking the afternoon off today as I have over a day of flexitime. However, there's only 3 of us in today so I thought I'd better not as it would leave us quite short

I was tagged ages ago by a couple of people but I've been waiting for the CLFF Wave to close ;)

Post a list of your top five favorite fics you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.

I should start by saying as a rule I don't read my fics once I've posted them, because invariably I find things I don't like about them. So, these are the ones where I can actually bear to read them again. LOL

1. Lost and Found (Jack Sparrow/James Norrington, PotC)

This is the only full-length PotC I've written but I was really pleased with the way it turned out. I found getting inside James's head disturblingly easily and am still rather pleased that my James in this fic bears an uncanny resemblance to the one we were presented with in Dead Man's Chest. I wrote this fic back in 2005.

2. The Happiest Frog (No pairing, Lost)

I like writing crack!fics, what can I say? I just had this idea on the way to work on morning and wrote it in about ten minutes. It still makes me laugh now.

3. Outside It's Raining (Sean/Viggo, LotR RPS)

This was my first ever attempt at writing any sort of RPS and I'm rather pleased with how it came out. I don't normally write NC-17 fics as I find writing sex scenes quite difficult. I worked hard on this one though and I think it came out ok in the end

4. Press-Ganged (Buffy/Spike, BtVS AU)

It took me nearly 4 years to complete this fic I am ashamed to say, but I'm pleased with the end result. I had a lot of fun writing it and I got to combine one of my favourite shows with historical fiction featuring pirates. Lots of things are made better with pirates I find ;)

5. Sweet Like (Clark/Lex, Smallville)

Further to my comments about not being able to write sex scenes, this is the exception to that rule in my opinion. I actually had fun writing the smut for this and was giggling away to myself while I wrote it. It's by far my favourite of the Smallville fics I've written

Musings on CLFF

Because I like to torture myself I went and had a look at the poll results for CLFF Wave 20

I'm going to use my time in London next week to write some more of my Wave 21 fic
