Today

It's times like this I wish I had my laptop. I could quite happily spend the whole day in bed. LOL

Today is going to be a mostly quiet day. I'm going to hack apart Chapter 3 of my fic and try and make it good. Now I'm all worried that Chapters 1 and 2 suck but I've already sent them off for beta. My beta doesn't have a whole lot of free time so I don't really want to have to rewrite them both and then send them back to her again :-S

I might make a start of my next batch of Smallville icons too. Or I might just play some Gladius. LOL. We shall see.

A quick question

Would anyone be interested in an old school Smallville community?

I haven't worked out the specifics yet as I've only just had the idea but essentially it would be a place for icons, fic, meta, screencaps, discussion, anything really that centers around the early seasons of Smallville. It would either be seasons 1-3 or 1-4, I haven't decided yet. I'm also not sure whether to make it gen or clex orientated.

Any thoughts?

I am not having a good day

I have no idea what to do with this Smallville fic so I am going to bury my head in the sand, pretend it's not there and play Gladius for the afternoon instead.

I want to increase the RAM on my desktop PC so I opened it up to see what was in there already and was left none the wiser. I've got a 128MB module and one that isn't labelled. According to my specs I currently have a total of 352MB of RAM which makes no sense at all to me as I thought RAM modules came in identical pairs. 128 + 128 does NOT = 352

Right!

Screw this fic! It cannot be salvaged. The more I look at it the more frustrated and depressed I get because it is just not good. I've been fiddling with this chapter for 2 weeks now and I'm no closer to being happy with it than I was when I started

I think now is the time to give it up as a bad job and write something else

For the record I will not be writing any more Smallville futurefics. EVER!

Switching off

I have had an utterly unproductive day. I really don't know what's wrong with me. Everything I have tried to do today has just not happened.

My fic is dire and I couldn't fix it.

I tried to make a banner and failed miserably.

I tried to read some fic but couldn't concentrate for more than 5 minutes.

And that has been pretty much the extent of my day.

Switching off the computer now and I'm going to do...something.
