A break in the adventures

Bloody hell it's hot today! *melts*

Today so far we have been shopping, visited York Minster, The Treasurer's House, The Museum Gardens, The York Eye, we walked around the walls, bought the makings of pasta bake, had yummy Subway sandwiches and now we're having a rest before we go back out to do more exciting things

Tonight we will be going out to play pirate games. WOO HOO!

Games and stuff

After nearly dying of heat this morning drbillbongo and I went to the cemetery this afternoon to take artsy photos. We nearly melted again and decided it was best to come home and stay inside. Hehe

We watched Mr & Mrs Smith. I heart Brad and Angelina. If I was to have a celebrity threesome they would be very high on the list. I think I actually enjoyed the film even more on a second viewing

When it was finished we went to a pub for dinner. drbillbongo was rather upset at the lack of steak and ale pie so we have to try again on Saturday. LOL. odie77 and drbillbongo bonded over football and left me feeling rather confused (what's new there)

We played Dead Man's Treasure and whoever wrote the insructions clearly did not aim it for the kid's the game is marketed for. We were all totally confused but after a couple of games we'd got the hang of it.

When we got home drbillbongo and I played more games. We played Pirate Snap (which is aimed at 3 year olds. LOL), The Bean Game and Ghostly Gallion. It's worrying that all the pirate games I own are aimed at small children and I still find them fun. LOL.

drbillbongo has gone to bed now but despite it being a long day I'm still quite awake.
