I seem to have this thing where whenever I go out with the intention of getting drunk I never seem to manage it no matter how much I drink. I only seem to get drunk when I'm not thinking about it

Ah well. I had fun and I hope the others who were out with me did too. Greg bought me Red Son for my birthday which I'm looking forward to reading. Superman is probably one of the most straightfoward superheroes so I like the idea of doing different things with him. Ever since I saw Superman Returns I keep asking Greg questions about the comic version of Superman and he recommended this to me.

Overall it was a quiet birthday bash compared to others but I still enjoyed myself. Only Monday at work next week and then I'm off for 2 weeks. WHEE!

Hmm...

I've got to spend today cleaning the flat and preparing for my interview. Fun :-S

I had a dream last night that John Barrowman collapsed and I was the only one around so I had to look after him even though I had no idea what I was doing. The I realised I was supposed to be in the final for some singing contest only I got there late so they started without me and wouldn't let me enter. Afterwards the senior manager who spoke to me on Friday about why I didn't get an interview for that job gave me a talking to about the singing contest

BTW Dad-Ra recorded the final of How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria so don't tell me who won.
