More weird dreams

I had a dream last night where there was a singer/songwrite competition (like pop idol) but the people running it decided they wanted me to sing the song rather than the person who wrote it. They gave me 15 mins to learn it and in the end I refused, saying it wasn't my song and I had no right to sing it

Then this little silver kitten came and lay in my hand saying she agreed with me and wanted to live with me (yes, the kitten could talk). Two dogs, however, sided with the competition people.

Me, the kitten and some other random people decided we had to escape in a space ship (which ran on batteries) and we were just trying to work out where to get some from when my alarm went off

Mmm...

Whoever invented baked potatoes is a genius! *is full*

There has been an indefinite ban on overtime so no work for me tomorrow. A bit annoying because I could do with the cash, but on the other hand a lie in will be nice.

There's a showing of Swallows and Amazons at my local cinema tomorrow. I was going to go (and most likely be the only adult not accompanying a small child) but now one of the girls at work has asked me to see Dead Man's Chest with her (she hasn't seen it yet) so I shall do that instead.

I might have to rent Swallows and Amazons if I can though. It's great!

The internet may seem like a vast and big place, but really it isn't. My roomie for the first writerconuk mini-meet is just_sue. Turns out she used to work with padfoot_uk.
