Last night

Yesterday was fun. flickums and I went into town so she could buy Equilibrium on DVD. For some reason none of the shops in Sheffield had it in stock which I think is wrong considering it features the city's golden boy, Beanie. Maybe it was out of stock because people kept buying it...

Anyway, we came home and played some more Soul Calibre 3 until James and Greg arrived. I've realised I've got the skin tone of Sawyer all wrong. He looks like a zombie and we all know that it's Jack who's the zombie. Shall have to fix that.

Anyway, we played World of Warcraft the board game and although we did remarkably better than the first time we played it, we didn't actually have time to finish the game. Ah well, it was still fun.

Afterwards we went to Old Orleans and I had a YUMMY steak and cheese burger. Seriously I think it was the BEST burger I've ever had. And then I had a crepe filled with bananas and butterscotch sauce for pudding. One of the yummiest meals I've ever had.

On the way home Flick and I sang 'The Hero Of Canton' Hee! I love Jayne.

When we got back we fired up Tekken and Flick had her ass served to her on a plate (yes, you read that correctly, Flick LOST at Tekken). She blamed the Bacardi Breezers but since Greg had been drinking too AND smoking something that wasn't just tobacco, I don't think that's an acceptable excuse ;)

After a bit we went back to playing Soul Calibre 3 and Flick and Amanda crashed so Greg and I whopped each other for a while. I actually managed ok. I didn't WIN very often but they were close matches.

After Greg and Amanda left Flick went to bed and I chatted with Jacqui for a bit. She filled me in on what's been going on in my RP (I'll be posting about that soon) and we just hung out for a bit. It must have been at least 2am before I got to sleep. LOL.

Anyway, I think Flick and I are going to watch some DVDs now and possible play more Soul Calibre.

Today

flickums has gone back to Beanieland now. We spent most of the day playing more Soul Calibre 3 but I also gave her an indroductary session to Lost. We watched both parts of the Pilot and Confidence Man because she wanted a Sawyer-centric one to see what all the fuss was about. She now accepts the hotness of Sawyer and has agreed to stop calling him Robinson Crusoe. YAY! She even asked for some icons. WHEE! Hopefully I'll be able to get her to watch the rest of it now. It's brilliant. The pilot still gives me shivers when Jack first walks onto the beach and sees the plane for the first time. Brilliant opening episode!

jacqui_hw is poorly and has gone to bed :( I shall either go and play more Soul Calibre or watch one of my Amazon Rental DVDs.

Everyone is talking about Lost spoilers and it's making me want to read them

It all makes sense now

flickums has a theory about Lost and the monster

My theory is this: Godzilla was attracted to the plane by Sawyer's aura of macho. Having grabbed the plane and forced it to the ground, Godzilla is now stomping around the island seeking the source of such rugged manliness whilst eating anyone who fails to live up to him.
