flickums has a theory about Lost and the monsterMy theory is this: Godzilla was attracted to the plane by Sawyer's aura of macho. Having grabbed the plane and forced it to the ground, Godzilla is now stomping around the island seeking the source of such rugged manliness whilst eating anyone who fails to live up to him.
