Festive time

Happy Winter Solstice to those who celebrate :)

Thank GOD the days are going to start to get longer after today. I've been finding it SO hard to get out of bed this week. I don't know if it's because it's nearly Christmas or just because the days are so short. I've done bugger all work this week

James and Greg are hopefully coming over tonight for a game of LotR Trivial Pursuit and some mince pies and mulled wine. It'll be nice to see them properly before Christmas. We haven't had a game in ages

Tomorrow will be mine and Jacqui's last night in the house before Christmas. We're going to order pizza, watch Love Actually and Jacqui is going to open her presents so she doesn't have to carry them all on the train. I'm going to save mine for Christmas Day. Tomorrow we're also having a little party at work since it's our last full day of work so that'll be nice. Especially since boss lady has already finished.

The Lost Slayer

I've just finished book 1 of The Lost Slayer. I'm really enjoying it. It's one of the best Buffy novels I've read.

Meh

A combination of tiredness and shite work landing on my desk has left me in a foul and grumpy mood. I'm really fed up and I just want to finish for Christmas now. I'd take tomorrow and Friday off if I had any holiday time spare but alas I don't

I'm going to leave as early as possible today (3:30), pop into town and then go home and just loaf around. I WILL go to bed early tonight and not get distracted by crap TV
