The sacrifices I make

I got up at 6:30 this morning so I can leave work early to get the bus to the cinema to see Johnny in The Libertine. Yes, I will give up sleep for the cause of pretty men (and saving money by getting the bus instead of a taxi)

The pain of Wednesdays

Wednesday is the worst day. It's exactly halfway through the week so the refreshment of having had the weekend is long gone, and the next weekend is just out of sight.

I'm feeling rather tired but I'm sure I'll perk up once I get to the cinema. Has anyone else seen The Libertine? Is it good?

Looks like I shall be working 7:30-1:30 again on Saturday. Don't you just marvel at my eagerness....for more money ;)

Plan is also to dig out our Christmas decorations this weekend and see if we need to buy anything new. WHEE!

MUST work on my Apollo icons this weekend too.

These pics have been sat on my camera for ages and I finally got around to uploading them. Basically the weekend of Bonfire Night (Nov 5th) the council lit up York Minster and made it look all pretty. Guy Fawkes was born and christened in York so Bonfire Night is kind of a big thing here. Anyway, the Minster looked really cool. It actually looks like someone had painted it pretty colours but it was all done with well positioned flood lights
