I've been awake since 5:40. Don't know why. Figured I may as well get up and potter about online. I'm going to be knackered tonight...

Documentary about Take That on ITV1 tonight. Is it wrong to be excited? LOL

Cool meme

Reply to this entry by posting a picture of yourself in the comments, then post this sentence in your own journal.

Step One:
1. Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

2. If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

3. Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two
1. Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

2. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Here be my list...  )

Contact info...  )

IMPORTANT: I haven't had time to bookmark your wishlists, so if you have posted your wishlist in your journal, it would be very nice if you commented with a link. :) I'll do my best to grant a wish. :D

Desperate Housewives 207 )

I think I'm more excited about next weeks episode than I am about Lost. I really can't decide whether I hate George or Ana Lucia more. LOL

Made this for [livejournal.com profile] flickums and she has offered it up for sharing. Personally I don't think it's one of my better icons but there you go. I've realised I'm not the best judge of these things

Ok, you'd think there'd be at least ONE screencap out there of Apollo and his dad NOT looking like they hate each other. Anyone got any ideas?

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Also, does Apollo ever cry? How am I supposed to make an icon of the theme 'Tears'?

I really want to listen to all my old Take That CDs

Wow, that really was a trip down memory lane. I actually teared up in places

And also, Gary Barlow has THE most adorable children ever. Seriously, if I'm going gooey over a kiddie it has to be a pretty damn cute one and these two little darlings had me nearly feeling broody. Only nearly though

Ok, when I start listening to Leonard Cohen then you know it's time for bed. That's just one step beyond listening to Radiohead
