Get to leave work early today as I have an opticians appt. Lovely way to end the week. Have a sneaky suspicion I may need some new glasses. If I do I'm going to get some new frames too. Just haven't decided what kind yet

Parents are picking me up tonight so I can spend the weekend with them before the trip to Whitby on Sunday. Hope the weather is better than it is today. Stupid rain! Anyway, have marked the occasion of me seeing The Grand Turk aka Indefatigable with this lovely, shiny new icon

Had a dream about my Management Board results last night. Delayed reaction much. LOL. Had a dream that everyone who passed (which for some reasons included some people I used to go to school with) decided to collaborate on a celebratory cake. It was only when we'd finished that I realised the picture of me on the cake wasn't a picture of me. LOL

How lovely! It's been so long since I've written any Buffy fanfiction that I'm surprised anyone remembers me. LOL. Saying that, I'm feeling the urge to write more of Press-Ganged. I left this one for a LONG time because Dave was my beta on it and writing more would mean accepting that I would need to find a new one. I think I'm ready to do that now. Since my VigBean fic appears to be going nowhere fast maybe I'll write some Press-Ganged at the weekend. I'm in the mood for ships and piracy. LOL

Popped into Jessops on the way home to look at digital cameras. Had a nice chat to the man in the shop who let me play with this one which is the one I'm considering buying. It's really funny, from the front it looks like a cheap disposable camera and then when you look at the back it's uber-posh and shiney. However, he did point out that that camera takes a different kind of memory card to the one my current camera takes. He suggested I look at this one which does pretty much the same thing but means I won't need to buy more memory. Now I don't know what to do. I like the Samsung better but if the Olympus is pretty much the same and will mean I don't have to buy new memory then maybe I should go for that one

What do you think? Those camera savvy amongst you might have some advice
