Back to not sleeping again. Kept dreaming that I went back to the flat and loads more damaged had occured and all our stuff was ruined. I'll feel better when I can go back and see for myself

Dad-Ra is trying to negotiate an early finish today so we can go and get my PC, my cruise clothes and anything else we can fit in the car. He's going to ring when he finds out

I'm also going to have to take next week off as holiday I think. I can't afford to not be paid for a week. *sigh*

Also, STILL haven't heard back from the cruise people. I don't want to nag them by e mailing them every day but it's niggling in my mind now

Been back to the flat and grabbed my PC and my cruise clothes. It does make me sad that apart from the carpets being wet, there is virtually no damage to our flat yet we've still lost it. It was without a doubt the nicest place I've ever lived in *sigh*

The bottom of my PC base unit was a bit wet from being on the wet carpet but I don't think any water has actually got inside. I'm going to set it up in my bedroom after dinner and just check everything is ok. I won't be able to connect to the internet with it but I will be able to read all the lovely VigBean fics I saved and look at all the pretty Beanie pics

Speaking of Beanie I grabbed all my Beanie DVDs while I was there too. If Sharpe, Goldeneye and Lady Chatterly can't cheer me up then there's no hope for me
