In the restaurant today, we started talking about PotC 2 and 3 and what might happen. jacqui_hw suggested Hugo Weaving would be in it since he only seems to star in trilogies these days. There then followed a silly conversation as we imagined what might happen

Hugo: Well, hello there Mister Anderson Sparrow
Johnny Depp: Captain Sparrow!
Hugo: *puts on two eye-patches to look like a pair of sunglasses
Hugo: You must go to Mordorrrrrr, Mister Anderson Sparrow.
Johnny Depp: Captain Sparrow!

And that would be the joke throughout the films

So, anyway. That got me thinking. There must be loads of amusing crossovers like this waiting to be thought up so I invented a community mixed_fandoms

Hmm...

Out of the blue I seem to be getting a lot of e mails about my site and my Buffy fanfic. It's making me want to write again. Which is good. I think a lot of my waning interest was because I don't really chat online to any of my Buffy fandom friends any more and people don't really post about it much on LJ any more either. I was feeling like I didn't really belong to the community any more. Still, these new e mails have made me realise people do still visit my site and read my fics. I may do some work on Press-Ganged tomorrow

I've broken my website! All the links on the front page have gone and I don't know how to get them back since they were linked through an image and not just text.

I have no idea what to do to sort this out. HELP!

ETA: Fixed the links but there's now a gap in the middle of the pic and I can't work out how to get rid of it. I suck!

The girl who told me I was annoying (and that I make her want to eat her own flesh) is a teenage Simon Pegg fangirl! She posted in her journal that she wants to marry him. I'm not sure if that makes her insults to me more or less insulting
