I don't think I'm going to get into the habit of doing this regularly. In fact I might take a days holiday on Friday and have a nice long weekend next weekend to compensate. I have a few days left to use before April and I don't have anything else I need them for

Everyone should have a secret admirer on valentine's day, so i've decided to start a meme.

pick someone [or a few people] on your f-list
for valentine's day, do something special for them - write a ficlet, poem, song, drabble
create a special icon or artwork for a fic they've written that you love
if they have an amazon wish list, surprise them with something from it.

it's all about spreading the love and making someone feel as special as they are.

Well, aside from dragging my ass out of bed at stupid o'clock on a Saturday today has been pretty good. Worked out that I've earned a little over £100 today (before the tax man and student loan people get their hands on it. Grr!) and I got the finishing time wrong so we finished at 2:30 instead of 3:30. I reckon if I do this 3 or 4 more times before the cruise it should cover most of my remaining expenses. Of course knowing my luck there won't be any more overtime available until we get back now. Ah well

BWAHAHA!!!!

I've just removed Dave from my LJ friends list. He hasn't posted for ages anway since Tracy doesn't like him to use it in case he says something about her, but it's a little step forward in getting over this. Next step is to remove his number from my mobile....not quite ready for that one yet

2 pleas for help

1. This is for gamiila and any other accessorising experts out there. I need to buy some shoes to go with this dress. What colour/style do you recommend? Gold shoes or something else? Sandals or something else? Suggestions would be great

2. Is there any way of removing the reflection of the flash on my glasses in this photo? I fiddled with PSP a bit but I can't see anything that will do it

The joy of PotC is that it is just chock full of pairings that I will quite happily read. With BtVS is had to pretty much always be Buffy/Spike or occasionally Spike/Angel but that was about it for main pairings. In PotC I will read
