So not a joke

I have been trying for the last 5 hours to get to sleep and everything is fucking conspiring against me. My nose is all bloked up which makes sleeping pretty hard and when I do drop off my hacking cough soon wakes me up again and if those two things don't prevent me getting a bit of shut eye there's a howling wind outside just to make sure

I finally gave up at 4:30am when, after bursting into tears and sobbing for about five minutes I decided I may as well loiter online if I'm not gonna sleep

Night Nurse is a fucking joke. It's supposed to relieve cold and flu symptoms and cause drowsiness to give people a good nights sleep.

I love it when things you were getting stressed about turn out to be so much less stressful than you thought they were going to be :)

Sleep status

I did eventually manage to fall asleep at about 6am. Woke up again at 10:30. Well, better than nothing I suppose. At some point I'll be so exhausted I'll have no choice but to go to sleep.

I've started reading Blood Price by Tanya Huff. Not sure what I think yet. Style seems a bit Anita Blakey

Last nights telly

Last night I watched some interesting things and some utter shite. Here we go

Corronation Street - Don't normally watch it but it was on. Hehe. I have never laughed so hard at a soap in my life. The 'goth' teenagers were hilarious "This is just a shell, it's what's in the soul that matters" And then he got his tongue pierced and was trying to yell at his parents while barely being able to speak

Eastenders - First of all, the irony of Den telling Zoe to lie about being pregnant in order to keep Dennis is a joke. Didn't he divorce Angie because she'd lied to him about being terminally ill for exactly the same reason. EEW, but now he's decided if Dennis won't get her pregnant then he'll have to do it himself. Gross!!!

According to Bex - Not the finest comedy I've seen but it was good to see Jessica Stevenson working again.

Little Britain - I get it!! Finally I get the comedy of Little Britian! This week they did away with the two sketches I hate (the woman who vomits and the man who breast feeds) and I did actualy enjoy it. Not the finest Prime Minister sketch I've seen but I was happy to just stare at ASH.

Derren Brown's Messiah - VERY interesting. I find it quite scary that he was able to convince various groups of people that he was a psychic, a medium, an evangelist with the power of god behind him, a man who could read your dreams and an alien abductee who could tell you your medical history. He was VERY convincing which make you wonder if you can really believe in anything out there.

Celebrity Big Brother - Jeremy Edwards is already the favourite to win. He's got my vote. He's like Dan from BB5. Briggite is Nadia, Caprice is Shell and John is Jason

Spent all of this afternoon asleep. Why I couldn't have done it last night when I WANTED to be asleep I don't know
