Tried to run windows update while I was asleep last night. I foolishy thought it would be all nice and finished when I woke up. Wrong! Wasn't even half done and there was a little note saying 'server has reset'.

So I made this icon. Name of it amuses me: Kill Bill (Gates)

Don't know if I can be bothered trying to run this update thing again. Outlook works now, IE works. I'll just have to put up with older versions

The Village

OMG! This film just blew me away. The acting was superb, the plot was brilliant (although everyone seemed to work out the twists in advance apart from me) and at the moment I reckon it's probably the best film I've seen this year.

Joaquin Phoenix is going on my list of favourite actors. I don't think I've seen him in a bad film yet. Actually, he's a bit like Johnny Depp in that he can be in pretty mediocre films (Gladiator) but still churn out a stunning performance. Am I the only person who thinks Pirates wouldn't have been such a great film if Johnny hadn't made Captain Jack the way he is?

Anyway, now I need a lovely Joaquin icon...and a Johnny one too to go with my lovely Jack Davenport icon
