I'm back

Hello all!!

I had a lovely weekend away despite the heat but it's good to be home. I have photos, as promised, but it'll take me a while to get them resized and whatnot so you'll have to bear with me.

I really missed my PC on Friday when the Big Brother final was on. Nadia won!! It actually made me cry. I didn't realise just how much I liked her until she won. She was just so happy that people have accepted her as a woman. It was just a beautifully touching moment. I cried. A lot.

Got a lot of reading done over the weekend. Finished Northern Lights and I only have a couple of chapters of The Subtle Knife left to go. I'm really enjoying these books. If you haven't read them then go read them. After you've read some Jasper Fforde of course.

I bought a lovely cat ornament while I was away. I want a kitty! But we're not allowed pets :(

That's pretty much all the exciting news. I'll try and get the photos posted tomorrow

Now, if I'd never seen the show before I could have totally misinterpreted what was going on. Spike and Wood are alone in a dimly lit room and Wood is removing his shirt.

I found myself watching She's All That tonight. Not only did I find myself liking it despite the obvious plot and cliche filled storyline, but I also found myself thinking that Freddie Prinze Jnr is actually quite cute

Weather and an idea

It's been raining pretty much all day and people are still walking around in T-Shirts because it's just not cooling things down. I went to work in a little black dress today as it's the only cool thing I have. The walk home in the rain was quite refreshing. I really hope it gets cool soon

Hee, us Brits are never happy with the weather. It's either too cold, too hot, too wet or too dry. LOL

Had an idea today. Now that Big Brother has finished I have a gap in my schedule between 10 and 11. Perfect writing time! I probably won't do any tonight as the stupid heat meant I didn't get any sleep last night. I'm only awake so I can watch the last episode of Coupling while I eat my dinner.

Still, regular writing time will be good. I feel like I haven't done anything in AGES. I'm going to have to read all of Press-Ganged again just to remind myself what the hell is going on. LOL. I've also had an idea for what to writer afterwards. It's going to be another fairly dark fic I'm afaid. I guess I'm making up for all the sheer fluff I wrote during The Fluffy Files. LOL

Anyway, food time soon, then Coupling and then bed *yawn*
