jazz_police after work tonight. He's determined to mould me into a worthy opponant.
I applied for a course at work a couple of weeks back and I got a letter today saying they can't fit me in until Feb 2005. Very useful!
Had a weird dream last night that I was walking around the shipwreck of the Titanic. I was with someone else, I think Dave, and we had to hide from a family who were already living there. Then we were digging for treasure in the sea bed. Hmm....my head is a strange place. But then you knew that, right

Quick ramble before bed
Aug. 3rd, 2004 10:58 pmI had a good game of badminton this evening. I say game, it was more us just knocking the shuttlecock back and forth, but it was fun. I find excercise much more enjoyable when it's in game format. The gym is just too boring.
I'm ploughing my way through His Dark Materials. I'm about halfway through Northern Lights at the moment and I'm really enjoying it. Reckon I'll have it finished by the weekend and The Subtle Knife is already in my bookcase waiting for me
Possibility of a mini Big Brother party tomorrow evening. Dave is coming over as is the Wednesday tradition and Greg and Amanda may or may not be joining us. It should be good fun. We've got the eviction (with accompanying head fuck I suspect), then a Peter Kay show and the rest of the eviction. We're going to get chinese and just chill. I'm rather looking forward to it
Ros has agreed to let me watch Big Brother at hers on Friday so long as I explain it to her as it goes along. She's only caught glimpses of it. Not much to explain really so it should be fine. Now I just have to hope Dan or Nadia wins. I really like watching Nadia but I have a feeling if I was living with her I'd have the same opinion as Jason does (she's a very loud screeching banshee)
Don't know what I'm going to do when Big Brother finishes. It's been part of my routine since I moved into The Fangirl Pad. Maybe I should start going to bed earlier. Then I won't feel so tired all the time. Maybe
