Are DVD-R's region coded? I'm just trying to figured out whether my regular DVD player will be able to play my version of Stuntcocks when it arrives

Can anyone suggest scenes/episodes where Spike does a good smirk. The only one I can think of so far is Smashed when he realises he can hurt Buffy but there MUST be more than that.

Health update - Fever pretty much gone, can now making it down the stairs without being on the verge of collapse before I make it to the kitchen, I'm recovering. Most likely back to work tomorrow
