Dying....

Called in sick at work today. Felt guilty given that it was only my second day back but I'd been awake all night with a burning temperature, headache, cough, runny nose etc. I barely had the strength to walk down the stairs.

Not feeling particulary better. Still hot so I won't be at work tomorrow either. Tom is going to speak to my boss for me so I don't have to worry about waking up in the morning to call in.

I think the exhaustion from all the travelling coupled with the drastic change in temperature just left me wide open for illlness. Blah!

Well, I'm starting to feel better. Still have a temperature but it's not as bad as it was. Am contemplating going back to work tomorrow. Have to see how I feel in the morning

Anyway, now I'm more or less fully aware of what I'm saying I can talk about Monday's video night.

I haven't actually decided if I liked Daredevil or not. Partially because I felt crap when we were watching it and partially because we spent the whole time taking the piss. Tpoics ranged from Daredevils impressions of several other well known superheroes, Colin Farrell's scenery chewing ability ("I want a fuckin' costume"), Ben Afflecks waterproof hair and Jennifer Garner's Lara Croft impression (and she's still funny looking)

I'm probably going to have to watch it again before I decide

For those who are interested I've been browsing the Vulkon forums and have managed to find out the following

The cost will be $1400-1700 - this covers everything bar booze and shore excursions

Julie Benz, Andy Hallett, James Leary and Iyari Limon are almost definitely going to be there. The 'bigger stars' are still under negotiation and nothing will be announced until agreements have been signed

Will keep you posted if I hear more (unless people don't want to know)
