Mar. 7th, 2003 05:39 pmWell, I am now considerably poorer but my tickets are paid for. Spoke to a lovely young man who was very helpful and even sent me a text message with the details I needed.
Flight to Canada is going to be looong. Apparently they've introduced these new customs rules which means I have to sit in Washington airport for 4 hours while they make sure I'm not a terrorist. Same again when I fly from Toronto to Tampa.
Not amused....but still excited. WHEEE!!!
Now I just have to pray that
mrthursday's dream of my dying in a plane crash wasn't some sort of freaky premonititon. Well, even if it was I've seen Final Destination. If I don't get on the plane I'll just die in an even more horrible way.
Ah, what a cheery thought....

A work update
Mar. 7th, 2003 07:09 pmHad another chat with my boss today, after one of the girl in my office got rather peeved when I said I wasn't going to make a complaint. She said that if I didn't then the office bitca would realise she can get away with it and carry on.
Boss said he'd look into the complaint procedure but I get the feeling he thinks I'm over reacting. He said something along the lines of
"I've had experiences of this in the past but no one has ever complained officially before."
Well, it's not done yet. He's also booked me onto an assertiveness course, saying that he thinks it'll help me deal with stuff like this better in the future. REALLY get the impression he thinks I'm being stupid...
Ah well, we'll see what happens
