Well, I procastinated from my fic this morning to write up the weekend only to get booted and lose the whole thing. Damn AOL!!! So here we go with attempt two

Hils' Weekend

Friday - Had the day off and the plan was to work on the above mentioned fic which has been sat unfinished for about 3 weeks now. Instead I went shopping. Bought stuff for a couple of my friends birthdays and got nothing for myself, aside from a bag to replace the one that got stolen. Got back home and decided to sod the fic and got the train back to my parents.

Five minutes after arriving I remember just why I moved out in the first place. Had barely taken my coat off when Dad ordered me to feed the pets and clear out the rest of my stuff from my old room. It was like I'd never been away.

Spent the evening chatting to Sian and Shoshanna which was nice and then I headed off to bed.

Saturday - Had a bit of a lie in and then trundled downstairs to check my e mail. Broadband, it's fantastic! Tried to work on my fic again but wrote 2 sentences before deciding to take a shower.

Once I was washed and dressed I headed back down to work on the fic some more when Dad ordered me to shut down the computer so he could 'do stuff'. Resisted the urge to kill and trundled upstairs to make use of the PS2. Anne Robinson had just voted me The Weakest Link when Sarah arrived (and there was much rejoicing). Sarah and Flick then drooled over Auron for a bit (still don't see the attraction). We then decided to go and get food.

After driving round and round Tesco's car park we gave up on that and went to TGI Fridays instead. We ate sinful food, drank sinful cocktails and then came home.

I was introduced to Weebl and Bob (Lo) before we all piled into Flicks room for the girlie video night. First of all we watched Bill Bailey and I nearly had a coronary because I was laughing so much. The we watched For The Birds and Sarah nearly had a coronary because we were laughing so much. The we watched South Park the Movie and Flick nearly had a coronary because she was laughing so much.

We then harrassed Ben (who does a very good Cartman impression and to his credit didn't complain when ordered to amuse us all with the aforementioned impression).

Headed to bed soon after that.

Sunday - Was woken up by being prodded by Sarah and trundled downstairs for a chocolate croissant (after a bit more Ben harassment). Sarah left soon after that (and the nation wept). The it was time to take Flick to Uni.

Clearly I have missed my vocation as an unpacker. When I moved into York it took me about 3 hours to get everything I owned unpacked and the furniture just where I wanted it. It took me about an hour to unpack Flick's stuff for her.

We said our tearful goodbyes and then it was time to go home. Needless to say that spending 6 hours in a transit van with my father was not a pleasant experience. Buy the time I got home I was tired, cranky and altogether unamused (as the entry from last night will show)

Not entirely sure how the next part happened, but despite being ready to drop on my feet when I got home, I ended up staying up until 3:45am chatting to Tom's friend Rob. This guy can talk for England (and he's probably reading this so I better be nice. Just kidding Rob, I had fun). It must be something to do with people called Rob. I used to work with a guy called Rob and we once sat up until 6am just talking. I don't know where the time went but it was a pleasant evening. It's just a novelty to meet someone who is probably more obsessed with Buffy than me.

Anyway, at 3:45 I had to admit defeat and head to bed. That was it. End of weekend
