hilsJacqui suggested I go and get a PCR Covid test, because last time she had to self-isolate she was allowed back out once she'd registered a negative covid test.
So, I went to the drive through test centre yesterday afternoon. It was very well organised and efficient. I was there maybe 15 mins in total. Took the test at 2:30pm yesterday, got the results at 10am this morning. Negative, which I figured it would be. And, sure enough, I was advised in the text that if it'd been more than 48 hours with no symptoms, and provided I didn't live with anyone who had tested positive, I no longer needed to isolate \o/
I have to say I'm so glad I've got such a nice and understanding boss who was totally cool with me going out and getting tested in work's time, and was totally understanding when I said I didn't get anything done yesterday because my head was all over the place.
This means dinner withachray and elenothar is back on \o/
Looks to be a nice day tomorrow, too, so there should be no issues with us sitting outside to eat. YAY!
