The Weekend Draws Nearer

hilsOver the midday hump and sliding towards the weekend. The weather has cooled down this week but it's still really humid and gross. I've finally had something escalated to me at work that I'm not sure how to deal with. It's not super urgent and it came in just as I was finishing so I'm hoping by tomorrow I'll have some ideas or at least thoughts on who to ask about it.
At least today has been a bit more calm in terms of fan content. Although Yibo has a new show that came out this morning. Well, sort of new. I think they filmed it a couple of years ago (before The Untamed) but it's only just been released. It looks utterly silly and ridiculous and will provide some great livetweeing material. I think a few friends and I are going to stream it together at the weekend. It's definitely not the sort of show that needs serious attention.
Didn't get any writing done last night as we had dinner early and after dinner is my show watching time. Watched another episode of The Lost Tomb. Twitter yelling here.
I'm starting to think I should have watched the other shows before this one, but I was impatient for more Zhu Yilong. Anyway, thoughts on ep 13 under the cut.
The long and boring flashback is finally over and, honestly, I don't know why Wu Xie is so eager to save his uncle. He came across as kind of a dick.
And, finally, the A plot and the B plot seem to have come together which hopefully means we're also coming to the end of the tribal village storyline. I really like Sunglasses and Mute Girl (I love that neither of them has a name despite having had several episodes dedicated to their storyline) but I wasn't wild about the plot. Hopefully they will get something interesting and less racist to do now.
I'm quite keen to get back to Wu Xie and his adventures. We haven't seen him for ages while we had the boring flashback.
And, I'm happy to report that a kind soul has taken pity on me and given me access to the rest of the show so I don't need to ration it :D
