Back to the grind

hilsBack to work today and have dived straight back into chaos. My boss is off today so I'm trying to figure out everything that happened while I was off just by reading emails. Should have taken today as an extra day of holiday really /o\
Still, can't complain too much. I'm working from home today and it's just today and then I have the weekend. Better than coming back to chaos on a Monday morning I suppose :D
Yesterday was pretty relaxed although I have NO IDEA where the day went considering I was home from dropping Bill off by 7am. I barely got any writing done because my brain was fried but I did manage to add the final missing scene so I'm hoping to use this weekend to finish everything off. I think the internet is just a black hole that sucks up time. I wasn't really doing much of anything and the next thing I knew it was 3pm. The only remotely productive thing I did was colour in another one of the pages in my Dragon Age colouring book. I definitely think crayons are what works best
Other than that I played some more Dragon Age and got halfway through the final DLC with my final character. I should be able to finish that off pretty soon. It's funny I left the Blackwall romance until last because it was the one I was least interested in but it's actually all kinds of adorable and I keep cooing at my adorable lady dwarf and her big beardy lumberjack boyfriend
I then watched Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. They'd made some quite major changes to the book in terms of the plot. I think in order to make it more appealing to Hollywood. But it was still a ridiculous amount of fun and I really enjoyed it.
Didn't watch the hockey but Russia beat Finland which means North America is out. On the one hand I'm happy for Geno. He scored and Russia had a good game. But I'm sad for the baby hockey players who had a really good run. Russia now play Canada in one of the semifinals which is interesting as I'd have expected that to be the final. I imagine, if I had to guess, that the final will be Canada vs Sweden. Sweden are playing Europe in the other semifinal and from what I can tell Europe even getting this far is a surprise to everyone.
And LOL my boss phoned me while I was writing this post to apologise for all the chaos. None of it is her fault to be fair. The kids have just been running around setting fire to stuff while mum has been away and the babysitter has had her own stuff to do.
