I think things are going to pick up now Dig knows about Ollie being Green Arrow (although if he didn't at least suspect I'll be very surprised).

I'm enjoying the flashbacks to his time on the island. It's advancing nicely without giving too much away.

The one thing I don't like is the inevitable love triangle that's going to happen between Ollie, Laurel and Tommy. I find those very tiresome.

But, yeah, it's definitely getting better.

I was a little surprised Dig was allowed to "find out" by the third episode, and I'm pretty glad he's in on it now. The Arrow and the Bodyguard. ;) I like him a bit more than Ollie, tbh.

Urgh, do not want love triangle. I want Laurel to be an awesome HBIC and Tommy to develop past "best friend of main character" and Ollie to take time for himself and learn how to fit back into city life beyond the party boy image.

Laurel is awesome. Loved her kicking ass and saving the boys. Did not love the whole conversation about her between Oliver and Tommy where they were essentially treating her like an object.

The flashbacks are very interesting plus the whole "how is it he's in the Russian Mafia?" angle.

Heh, it's nice to see that someone on my flist is watching this show. :)

I actually really liked the fact that Dig now knows (suspects), I hope the writers aren't planning to waltz around this for very long, and he and Oliver will become a team. Oliver is very messed up psychologically, he really needs a partner and a friend, IMO. (And I like Dig.) :p

I agree with you about the love triangle. It's such a cliche. Oh - and speaking of cliche, I also find the sister annoying, IMO she's such a cliche, TV-made portrayal of a "difficult teenager" with obligatory drug problems and bad attitude that just migrates from one show to another. I hope they'll develop her somehow. :\

Also I really love Katie Cassidy as Laurel and Paul Blackthorne as her father.

The twist with the Russian mafia made me LOL, though. All the "Russian" scenes were so ridiculous, and nonsense, and just... LOL. Not even starting on the grammatically incorrect Russian half of which I couldn't understand without English subtitles. </ native speaker's rant> :)

I'm really enjoying the series, it had me hooked from the pilot. The flashbacks are done well I think, not too frequent and always relevant, unlike some shows. Looking forward to tonight's ep! :)
