So after what has already been a shitty month after finding out there was no job in Atlanta after having already been given a contract stating that there was it seems that while I was in London today my phone was stolen. The phone I've only had for a week and that I bought for myself as a treat for not actually getting that job. And coupled with that I missed my train home and had to fork out nearly £100 to get back.

I'm starting to think I'm being punished.

I happily tell people I've been offered a promotion and am moving to the US. The job offer gets taken back.

I happily tell people I've bought a new phone. It gets stolen.

I happily tell people I sold my old phone for £170 which is nearly the full amount that I paid for the new handset. I miss my train and have to spend nearly all of that money on a ticket home.

I happily tell people I am going to Dallas con for my birthday so that I finally get to meet Sebastian. I don't even know if I can afford to go now as I'm going to have to pay the insurance excess to get a replacement phone.

All of this has happened in the past two weeks.

I just give up.
