Well, it didn't make me cry this time but my god it's still heartbreaking. If you're not familiar with the comics it's essnentially an AU version of The Justice League wherein the Superman character instead of being raised by Ma and Pa Kent he's raised by the US government to be used as a weapon. It's SO sad! Absolutely brilliant though. I rank it up there with The Ultimates (before Mark Millar stopped writing it) and Red Son.
Onto the next volume now and I hope it's at least a little bit happier.
