The SPN marathon continues
Aug. 24th, 2009 05:38 pmOk, 1. If you essentially steal candy from children you deserve to eat razor blades and 2. EEEW!
Right. Dean sees the masks, we get hell noises and when Sam asks him if it's bringing back memories he gets all evasive. I think that's pretty concrete evidence that he remembered his time in Hell from the beginning
Dean and the Spaceman kid. Hee!
Oh, god, Sam getting all flailing and fanboyish around Cas...I think I ship it.
AND CAS IS TOTALLY FONDLING HIS HAND. HOW DID I MISS THIS THE FIRST TIME AROUND?
Oh, but how he's eyefucking with Dean. I hate to say it but a threesome is the only solution.
...actually, pretend I didn't say that. Bit too close to wincest. LOL.
Dean is so awesome in this scene, standing up to Cas and Uriel.
Oh, I love Dean trying to comfort Sam who is all sad because the angels are dicks *smooshes them*
This is the episode isn't it. This is the episode where Cas stops being an aloof ass and starts to actually care about Dean. God, I love him.
Zombies! Aww, it's like Thriller
Aww! Dean made Cas smile *melts*
And Cas is confiding in Dean about his doubts *melts again* Ok, they're still my OTP
What I said the first time around:
It's sad but SPN just doesn't get me excited any more. I enjoy it but it doesn't make me gleeful and happy like some of my other shows do
Still, I thought the silly monster movie episode was the SPN offering for Halloween so it was nice to see this one too. I'm glad we're back onto the main story arc again after a couple of weeks away. And any episode with Castiel in gets my vote ;)
OOH, new Angel. Why do I know the name Uriel? Anyone know anything about angels that can shed some light on it for me?
So, yeah, I liked it but no joyful glee from me.
I wonder if I was expecting too much from the show? There aren't actually that many episodes that I can say really made me squee. It's just something to sit back and enjoy. I mean clearly from my comments above I got a little more excited this time around but that's what the slash goggles do
Taking it as it is I think it was a decent episode. It advanced the plot, had a decent baddie, had the brothers kicking ass. What more do you need?
This is why I wanted to do this little experiment because I really don't know why I was on such a downer about S4 last year.
Busty Asian Beauties again? Seriously? LOL!
Teddy Bear doctors. OMG. How cute!
OMG! I love them plotting how to kill the giant teddy. It really should not be funny but it is.
Haha! Oh, I love Sam poking the invisible kid and telling him to put on some pants. He's like a daddy.
I still think the teddy trying to kill himself is really sad and not in the least bit funny
Ah, I thought I recognised Cadance. She was in Smallville. What a shocker.
And Ted Rami! Hee!
Yeah, Kneel Before Todd is still not funny
On the other hand 'With great power comes great *punch*' is hilarious! LOL!
Poor Sammy died! Does Dean ever find out about that do you think?
Yeah, Dean has just said he remembered everything that happened to him in Hell and he'd been lying about it. So that answers that discussion.
Wha I said the first time around:
It's quite sad that these days I don't really have anything interesting about Supernatural. In fact this episode got no reaction out of me at all.
The giant teddy bear scared me for a fraction of a second until I realised he was an emo bear. I didn't find it especially funny and in fact got quite sad when he tried to kill himself.
Kneel before Todd should have been funny but it wasn't
I dunno. Supernatural just doesn't push my buttons anymore. When was the last time we had a truly scary episode? I miss the days when it was scary
Funny episodes are all well and good but there seems to be more of them this year than there has been serious episodes. This is not a comedy show.
Huh. See, in retrospect I would not call this a comedy episode. There are funny moments, yes, but it's actually quite sad in a lot of ways. Maybe I was just pining for Castiel. LOL!
