Why I can never be a cat mum
Jun. 7th, 2008 12:27 amI am a firm believer that cats should be allowed to go outside unless it's unsafe for them to do so.
This is why if I ever get a pet it will have to be a dog.
I was just considering a post about how well behaved my parents kitty has been this week when she presented me a bird. Still alive, but I don't think it's going to last long. All its feathers have been stripped bare and it's just lying there.
Problem is whenever I try and go near it it starts flailing and squeaking and it's freaking me out. I have less of a problem disposing of dead animals than ones that are still alive.
Usually when she brings things in I chase her outside with them but this was clearly meant to be a present as she just dropped it on the floor and went straight back outside
Thanks kitty
