hilsTo get a standard open return to Gatwick Airport will cost me £200! That's not much less than I paid for my plane tickets!
There's no cheap advance tickets available and the only way to do it for a sane amount of money is to get two single tickets, the outgoing one leaves at 4am and gets me to the airport at 9am. My plane doesn't leave until 12.
Even if I get a train down the night before and stay in a hotel the train fare is still £200.
That decides whether I take my laptop or not. LOL.
When did train tickets get so damn expensive?
