selinamoonfire about the silliness of Season 6 and she told me that she read an interesting theory in a fic. This sort of follows on from what acampbell has been musing over the last couple of days
So, the general consensus seems to be that either Lex or Lionel was responsible for Lana's fake!baby.
What if it was Lana and the whole thing was a big con to get her hands on Lex's money? Only it backfired when he started slapping her about
I'd laugh my ass off if Lana turned out to be the real supervillain who had been playing everyone. She had no intention of leaving Lex for Clark, Lionel simply thought he was forcing her to marry Lex when in fact it was what she wanted all along.
Yeah, it's a bit out there and obviously won't happen on the show but it was an interesting idea that amused me.
