This, in particular, amused me
These are the times when Lana has kept a secret or told a lie, despite her absolute, violent, vehement stance against secrets and lies from Clark and others.
* In Lucy, she lied about the stone being stolen, lied that she did not care for the stone.
* In Facade, she lied to Lex about why she needed the books.
* In Crusade, she didn't tell Jason about her memory loss, a lie of omission.
* In Gone, she was holding back telling Clark about Jason, a lie, until Lois told him.
* In Magnetic, she lied to Clark about where her boyfriend was. She was being controlled, but note that when Clark is manipulated and he lies, she holds him accountable.
* In Tempest, she lets Whitney think he's still the only one she cares about.
* In Thirst, she "forgets" to tell Clark she's enrolled in college as a passive aggressive way to avoid telling him that she doesn't want to go to the same college.
* In Splinter, she doesn't tell Clark about the alien ship, and lies to him about doing her homework when she was actually plotting the ship's trajectory. She also declines to tell him that she's working with Lex to figure the ship out.
* In Splinter, Lana tells Clark that there could NEVER be anything between her and Lex. Not "isn't", "could never be."ÊLo and behold, they're lovers by the end of the season. Lie!
* In Fanatic, she told Clark she was no longer researching the meteor shower, but went ahead and did it anyway before rubbing it in his face.
* In Lockdown, she told Clark she came over to study when really, she just wanted to have sex.
* In Lockdown, she told Clark she was done studying the crash, but still had schematics in her backpack, which Clark finds.
* In Lockdown, she told kidnappers she knew where the Fine ship was. She was lying. She didn't know. (Still counts!)
* In Reckoning, she said that whatever Clark told her, it would be okay. Instead, she went and whined about it to Lois and Lex. That means she lied.
* In Tomb, she went to Lex for help with Chloe without telling Clark about it. That's a secret.
* In Hypnotic, she told Clark she had to go home because it was getting late. Immediately. Instead, she went to see Lex and collude about the ship.
* In Void, Lana pretends that all is well when she is really addicted to a drug. That's a secret.
* In Fragile, she explicitly and vehemently, to the point of browbeating Chloe, insists that nothing is going on between herself and Lex. She then leaps on him, making out after he kisses her. Lie.
* In Fade, Chloe reveals that Lana has asked her to explicitly lie to Clark about having a relationship with Lex. She later confirms this herself.
* In Oracle, she lies three times. First, she tells Lois she's getting coffee for Chloe. It's for Lex. Then, she remains silent when Lois asks her what her capacity is with Lex, which is girlfriend, a lie of omission. Then, thirdly, she tells Lois flat out that she's not Lex's girlfriend, a direct, explicit lie.
* In Vessel, Lana told Lex Luthor that Clark Kent was planning on killing him. This isn't the case. Clark was considering how to stop Lex, and Lana overheard parts of the conversation and assumed. This is a lie from ignorance, like if I said, "Steve hates Superman" because I heard him speaking critically of the Smallville finale.
* In Zod, she tells Zod she wants to be his mistress. She then tries to stab him. SECRETS! LIES!
* In Sneeze, Lana doesn't tell Lex that Clark knew he was going to be occupied by Zod before he was occupied by Zod. That's a lie of ommision.
* In Sneeze, Clark asks Lana if she knows about any plots against Lex's life. Lana doesn't tell him of the plot she knew about from personal experience. Lie of omission.

* In Fallout, Lex is going to tell Lana if he would have chosen the box or her. Technically, this is Lex's lie, but by passive aggressively indicating he should not respond by saying, "I guess we'll never know!", she created Lex's secret for the both of them. SECRETS!
