hilsLana is a Mary Sue!
That explains a lot, particularly why everyone in Smallville is in love with her. Also how she managed to go to school and work in The Talon apparently simultaneously, how she got accepted into a Parisian art school despite showing no previous artistic talent and how she got accepted into college despite not even applying until after the first semester had already started.
Maybe someone should have a talk with the SV writing team and point this out to them.
I also like the theory (I forget who posted it) that Lana is a meteor-mutant who somehow compels everyone to love her
