Well, that was certainly interesting viewing
What I liked: Lois jumping out of the Daily Planet building. I dunno, it was more funny than her jumping into a river
Marlon Brando! I loved the bit where he's trying to talk Kal-El out of becoming human and I love the extended stuff when Jor-El says he will sacrifice the last part of himself to give Clark his powers back. It just made more sense than him picking up the green crystal and suddenly being Superman again.
Lois and Superman having sex before he becomes human. Means that Superman Returns makes a bit more sense...but not at the time obviously. I dunno, it just seemed right.
What I didn't like: Shooting Clark to prove he's Superman. I prefer him revealing himself by accident after all of Lois's schemes.
Turning back time at the end. A bit redundant after what happened in Superman I
Destroying the Fortress of Solitude. Just not right.
Overall I found it interesting and but much as I support Donner I like the final version of Superman II
