hilsThat was a brilliant night out. And to think I wasn't looking forward to it. It's weird that I'm spending more time with people from my old work now than I did when I left. It's sweet. A few people from the office that used to be next to mine have kind of adopted me and Greg and keep inviting us out. One of the girls is quite geeky so we can squee about things together. She loves Heroes as much as me. YAY!
We chatted about all sorts of things tonight. The boys kept talking about football (apart from Greg) so the rest of us had to amuse ourselves. We even ended up playing 'Bogies' at one point. Thank God no one in the pub knows me.
One of the girls met Shayne Lynch (formerly of Boyzone) yesterday so we all started talking about meeting famous people and I was forced to tell, again, the story of James groping me. I think Laura (the geeky girl) was more excited than me. Then we talked about Nathan and went all gooey. LOL.
It was nice just to hang out and chat. The people in my new office are SO quiet and I really want to liven things up (and hang some Christmas decorations - The Scrooges!) but I think maybe I should let myself settle in before I bring a radio to work and make people talk to each other.
On a totally unrelated note I'm trying out the new version of Yahoo Mail finally, since it's bound to change over eventually. It's going to take some getting used to, which is weird considering I use Outlook all the time and they are essentially the same.
