hilsToday was the first day of my Effective Meetings training course. A really interesting and useful course (especially since I am now Chair of the ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
writerconuk committee) but dampened slightly by the fact that it's being held in possibly the most depressing place ever (Catterick). The room we're in has no heating apart from a small electric thing that you only know is on if you stand right next to it. I had to leave the house at 7:20 this morning and got home at 6:30 tonight. That's a long day for me
That being said, all the people on the course with me are lovely. I got thrown in at the deep end, having to chair the first of our practise meetings 5 minutes after we'd all arrived. LOL. It went ok though.
Back again tomorrow for more
Now I need to read some more Plastic!Winchester Theatre and then maybe I'll watch the 2 episodes of Heroes I have on my hard drive. Oh, and I need some dinner too. LOL
