hilsWoke up this morning all sneezy and snotty. Probably brought on by a mixture of getting drenched yesterday and the fact that Jacqui has been poorly for a week
Went to work but by lunchtime I felt like I was starting to get a chill so I asked to go home
Got drenched again on the way home. Will mostly likely die of pneumonia now.
On the plus side nice senior manager (who I chatted to on Monday) randomly popped in and asked if I wanted to borrow the BBC version of Neverwhere. WHEE! I read the book years ago and thought it was amazing. I think I need to read it again though to refresh my memory. I also need to find someone with a VCR who won't mind me borrowing it. We're a DVD only house here.
Right, I'm going to curl up on the sofa and watch a DVD while I have lunch and then I'm going to bed where it is snuggly and warm
