Update

jacqui_hw has cooked me dinner, given me wine and cake and we watched the rest of Middlemarch. While we watched the DVD Jacqui gave me hugs and amused me. She also observed that I apparently have the tinest ears ever. Seriously, she keeps talking about the smallness of my ears. LOL.

I was also amused by the fact that Jacqui ordered 2kg of Peas from Tesco and they sent her two pea pods totally 3 pence. Hee! You'd have thought that it occurred to them that it was wrong.

Greg phoned to check I was ok. Bless. I did come close to crying several times today and I did have a little weep in the privacy of the toilets. Also this touching post by authoressnebula had me in tears too. I do feel less like crying now so I guess that's progress

Don't know what I'm going to do at work tomorrow. I really can't be arsed with them any more since they obviously care about statistics and not people. I have asked my boss what the procedure is for requesting a transfer to another department. I'm not 100% sure I want to do it yet but at least I want to know where I stand. Bumped into my old boss in the corridor this afternoon (she was one of the people involved in the decision to 'demote' me). She asked me if I was ok, and I said no. Her reply? 'Oh' and then she walked off

I hate them all! Not the people in my office, but the fucktards who did this.

*sigh* I'm going to finish my rum and coke and then go to bed. Maybe it will seem better tomorrow
