hilsIt's amazing what a bit of responsibility can do. I'm actually starting to see this as a career rather than just a job and I'm actually enjoying it. I still need to find my feet a bit but new boss lady is being really supportive. I don't want to give this up in 3 months. LOL.
Yesterday it was suggested I put my name down to be the Staff Rep at the senior manager's meetings. I did this a few times a year or so ago and it's quite interesting if not slightly daunting. I probably wouldn't have bothered going for it this time if someone hadn't suggested it to me. Anyway, it's going to a vote and there's four of us in the running so we'll just have to wait and see. Won't be crushed with disappointment if I don't get it.
All this because I'm 'vocal' at meetings. Translated it means I'm loud and bolshy. LOL.
On a totally unrelated note the landlord is coming over later to fix the boiler so hopefully when I get home there will be peace and quiet.
And I have to go to HSBC after work to continue the war. I'm SO looking forward to the resolution of this so I can write my snarky letter of doom. I got very shouty at the woman on the phone on Friday
