Dreams and inspection

hilsI had a dream last night that I decided to buy a mansion in Germany and commute to England every day for work. The house cost £500,000 and it was only after I'd agreed to buy it that I realised I didn't have a mortgage and almost certainly wouln't be able to get one for that amount. Weirdness.
Our landlord popped a note through the door yesterday to inform us they'll be peforming an inspection of the property next Friday. The place is a tip at the moment so![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jacqui_hw and I will be doing some serious cleaning and tidying this weekend. We were going to do it anyway but now we have an incentive. Landlord had better not complain about the pictures we've put up or I will be seriously not amused
I need to decide what calendar to buy for my wall next year. At the moment it's going to be Battlestar Galactica, Lord of the Rings or Lost. Not sure which yet, I'll have to see what there is.
Right, I'm heading off to work now. I'm taking the nostalgia photo of me,drbillbongo and black_claw into the framers today so I can get a nice frame for it (and then hang it on the wall to piss off the landlord even more)
